Hi! Thad Geer here! Welcome to my online art gallery. I've been painting oil on canvas most of my life. I hope you see something you love! 

I live with my wonderful wife Miriam in Los Osos CA. We moved to the lovely California Central Coast 3 years ago after living over 50 years in Topanga CA. Where we raised our family. And I painted.
 

My inspiration comes from places I've lived, life experiences, observations, myths, imagination and dreams. I also enjoy the interplay of light, color and form. Especially at  Dawn. Which is what Miriam and I named our daughter. I draw on all these sources to create images of our planet and the cosmos.

Each unique painting comes ready to hang with a Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the back. This document shows the history of each painting's ownership, custody and location. Tracing its journey from my art studio to the your home. Basically a short bio for the painting. This establishes authenticity, market value and legal ownership.
